On April 23, as part of the SUNNY BUNNY LGBTQIA+ Film Festival, the documentary project Vacancy: Human will be presented — a joint initiative by NGO Fulcrum UA and the public broadcaster Suspilne, supported by the international organisation Choose Love.

The project sheds light on the employment experiences of LGBTQIA+ people in Ukraine — with all the challenges, victories, and real stories of change. At its core are dignity, the right to be oneself, and to work in a safe environment.

Following the screening, a panel discussion will take place, where together with experts, project protagonists, and media professionals, we will explore:

• how unequal conditions affect employee productivity;
• how inclusive policies can become a competitive advantage for businesses;
• what the law currently provides and what still needs to change;
• why visibility of LGBTQIA+ people in media matters — and what it changes in society.
