Romelia, a queer young Mexican raver, starts a journey of self-discovery and identity transition. This exploration hinders their relationship with “El Flako” (with whom they have an important generational gap), breaking and questioning their routine with new needs and desires.

Their documentary-experimental short film, LEARNING TO SING (2021), has more than 10 official selections at national and international festivals and two awards: Best Student Short (21st Silver Wave Film Festival, Canada) and (13th Rec Festival, Argentina). Also, awarded winner at the Taxco Film Fest for Best Experimental Short with their film RMI or MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGINING (2024).
