Lara and Roque, two queer and isolated teenagers in the Spanish countryside, face the end of a bitter-sweet innocence.
Daniel Sánchez López is a director, screenwriter, and producer; born in 1990 in La Mancha, Spain. Graduated in Audiovisual Communication from the Complutense University of Madrid, he completed a Directing program at the European Film College (EFC) in Denmark, and Production studies at the International School of Cinema and Television (EICTV) in Cuba. Since 2015, he lives in Berlin where he co-founded Cosmic Productions.
The film BOY MEETS BOY, his film debut as a producer, screenwriter, and director is about loneliness and the search for identity within the gay community. The film premiered online at the BFI Flare in London and physically at Kyiv IFF Molodist in the Sunny Bunny competition where it got a special mention; it has been distributed internationally in more than 30 countries. He currently works as a programmer for the Visionär International Film Festival in Berlin, dedicated to the new promises of cinema.
