George Platt Lynes began his career photographing celebrities, however, his heart lies in the work with the male nude. This work has only recently begun being fully appreciated for the revolution that it represents – a man capturing his fantasies as a gift, a window to a future his camera saw coming before anyone else.
Sam Shahid, a fashion and advertising icon for over 40 years, transformed Calvin Klein’s image in the '80s as creative director, shaping its global appeal. In 1990s he revitalized Banana Republic and founded his own agency, Shahid / Kraus & Company. Shahid's visionary campaigns span Versace to Abercrombie & Fitch. He’s also designed a library’s worth of fine art books for artists and photographers such as Bruce Weber, Kelly Klein, Herb Ritts, Ellen Von Unwerth, Joel Grey and Jessica Lange amongst others.
