DIRECTOR:

Jochen Hick

Born in 1960 in Darmstadt. Studied Film at the Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg (HFBK) and in Bologna. Works as a freelance writer, journalist, director, and producer for film and television. Also active as an editor-in-chief and program director. He has independently produced numerous documentaries successfully screened at festivals and cinemas worldwide. More than ten of his films were shown in the official program of the Berlinale. Hick’s films often deal with LGBTQ topics.
